Graphics Input (DVI or VGA)
GRAPHICS INPUT SELECTION:
The Graphics input can be selected from the analog VGA or the digital DVI inputs. The VGA analog input is
digitized into a digital format. The DVI digital input remains in the digital form throughout processing to
minimize distortion in the graphics conversion process. Thereby it provides the most accurate conversion and
color keying. The DVI input is terminated internally while the VGA input has an active loop-through monitor
output.
GRAPHICS BACKGROUND:
The graphics re-sizer puts in a BLACK background color around the graphics when the graphics size is
smaller than the video screen size.
NORMAL or UNDERSCAN OUTPUT:
The graphics re-sizer can be set to exactly match the video screen for broadcast output or be set to underscan
so that all the contents can be displayed on an over-scanned picture monitor.
MAGNI PORT SELECTION:
A portion of the Graphics screen can be selected to go to full screen video. This can be set so that there is one
to one match of the pixels between the graphics and the scan converted video giving the least possible
distortion in the conversion.
