The following components can be viewed from the front of the MCP-601. Indicators On when the
LED lit:
INPUTS:
-VIDEO: Both Analog and SDI outputs are available simultaneously regardless of input.
ANALOG: Video is from one of the following analog inputs (indicated by Video Format LED):
Composite, Composite (CPST 2), Y/C or Component
SDI 601: Video is from the Serial Digital 601(SDI) input.
-COMPUTER
VGA: Graphics being converted to video is from the VGA input.
DVI: Graphics being converted to video is from the DVI input.
VIDEO FORMAT: Selected analog video input / output format. The following formats are available:
-COMPOSITE
-Y/C Separate Y (Luminance) and C (Chrominance) input and output are through BNC connectors.
BNCs to S-Video adaptor are required to interface with S-Video input/output.
-YUV CPNT
-NTSC/525 or PAL/625 Video system for input and output:
525/625 indicates the horizontal lines of SDI and Component systems.
-GENLOCKED:
Indicates that the video output is locked to the selected video or REF (reference) input.
OUTPUT:
-VIDEO: On indicates all or part of the input video is being outputted and
Off indicates when 100% of the graphics input is being outputted.
-GRAPHICS: On indicates all or part of the input graphics is being outputted and
Off indicates when 100% of the input video is being outputted.
-INTERNAL KEY: Internal key is on.
-EXTERNAL KEY: External key is on. 100% of the graphics input is being outputted.
Input video passed through is not available.
CONTROL: Detector on the front panel for wireless IR remote controller.
NOTE: Control of the instrument can be either from the Magni MCP-601-IR controller, RS-232, USB,
Magni Premier Software or the Magni FX-1 Controller. (See page 29 for RS-232/USB control codes.)
POWER: The POWER switch turns the unit On and Off. There is no power indicator light. The unit is on
when any of the above indicators are lit.
